What is it really like growing up as a pastor’s kid?

For many PKs, life in a ministry family can be both a blessing and a challenge. There are unique expectations, moments of pressure, and the constant question of whether faith is something you simply inherited or something you’ve truly made your own.

In this episode, we sit down with Tyler, a pastor’s kid who is stepping into a worship leadership role and beginning to find his own voice in ministry. He shares what it was like growing up in a pastor’s home, the realities behind the stereotypes, and the journey of discovering a personal calling to lead worship.

Along the way, we talk about identity, stepping into leadership at a young age, and what it means to move from being “the pastor’s kid” to becoming the person God is calling you to be. It’s an honest and encouraging conversation for PKs, young leaders, parents of kids in ministry,  and anyone trying to discover their place in God’s story.
